Publishing partnership
Novum Press becomes the publisher. We take on the platform, production, indexing programme, and publishing infrastructure. Your society keeps ownership, the editorial board, and the name on the masthead. Best for new titles, and for societies whose current arrangement isn't getting them indexed.

Best for journals between managing editors, drowning in a backlog, or running a special issue without the staff to absorb it.

What we do.
Journal launch and publishing partnership
Aims and scope, editorial board formation, ISSN registration, submission system setup, and a launch plan. For societies and institutions founding a new title, or moving an existing one to a professional publisher.
Editorial office and peer review management
Submission triage, plagiarism and integrity screening, reviewer identification and follow-up, editor coordination, and decision-letter handling. Your editorial board makes the decisions; we run everything around them.
Production and typesetting
Copyediting, reference styling, proofs, and publication-ready XML, PDF, and HTML. Articles published to modern standards, not scanned layouts.
Indexing and metadata
DOI registration through Crossref, structured metadata, ORCID and funder tagging, and a staged readiness programme for DOAJ, PubMed Central, Web of Science ESCI, and Scopus. We treat indexing as a roadmap with milestones, not a promise.
Journal hosting and platform
Journal websites, article pages, archives, repository integration, and open-access infrastructure — hosted and maintained by us.
Publishing ethics and policy
Author and reviewer guidelines, COPE-aligned ethics policies, licensing and copyright terms, retraction and correction procedures, and the governance documents indexers ask to see.
AI-assisted editorial operations
Machine assistance where it genuinely helps and is permitted: submission screening, plagiarism and image-integrity checks, statistical and reference verification, reviewer matching, metadata and keyword tagging, and language polishing. Every editorial decision stays with your editors and our human staff. We operate under a published AI policy aligned with the ICMJE 2026 recommendations, we do not process manuscripts through AI tools without author permission, and we never place unpublished work on platforms where confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.

Initial manuscript checks
Article type, formatting, author details, ethics statements and declarations, file completeness, references, and journal-specific requirements, applied consistently on every submission.
Author communication
Professional correspondence with authors on missing files, technical corrections, revision requests, and production queries, in Arabic or English.
Reviewer follow-up
Reviewer identification and invitation, reminders, deadline tracking, and escalation when a review stalls.
Editor coordination
Manuscript status tracking, pending-task lists, decision preparation, and a regular editorial report so your editor-in-chief always knows where the queue stands.
Decision-letter support
Preparation and formatting of decision letters using your journal's approved templates.

Verifying that accepted manuscripts and their files are clean and complete before copyediting, typesetting, and proofing.

Full right-to-left layout, mixed Arabic–English articles, Arabic abstracts and metadata, and Arabic reference handling. Very few STM production houses handle Arabic properly. We do.

Proof preparation
Author proofs prepared and correction rounds managed. First correction round included.
Reference formatting
Vancouver/NLM, APA, AMA, Harvard, and custom journal styles.

Rates are per published page for standard text articles. Mathematics is priced separately by equation density. Send us a sample article and we will quote against it.
Your annual meeting, from call for papers to proceedings
Conference management.
One system, not five
Most societies run the abstract call in one tool, registration in another, badges in a print shop, and the programme in a spreadsheet. We run all of it on a single conference platform, and because we are a publisher, the accepted work carries through to published proceedings instead of stopping at the closing session.
Programme and scheduling
Parallel tracks, sessions, rooms, and breaks defined once, with clashes across rooms, speakers, and chairs caught before the programme is published. Speaker profiles, bios, and headshots flow to every surface that mentions them.
Abstract submission and review
Per-track submission forms, configurable deadlines, automatic reminders, and blinded review with scoring rubrics, conflict-of-interest checks, and balanced reviewer workloads. Chairs see pending reviews and score distributions without exporting a spreadsheet.
Registration and ticketing
Early bird, standard, student, and group rates, with local currency, VAT handling, and refunds that do not require a call to finance.
Badges and on-site check-in
Branded badges produced from the registration data, scanned check-in on the day, and volunteer shift scheduling with briefing materials.
Attendee app
Personal agendas built from the programme, session reminders, venue maps, sponsor pages, and moderated live question and polling during sessions. Opened from a link, with nothing to install.
Sponsors and reporting
Sponsor tiers, logo placement, lead capture, and impression reports generated automatically after the event. Live dashboards for submissions, registrations, and revenue while the doors are still open, with exports in the formats a board or funding body expects.
Proceedings and supplements
This is the part a general conference platform cannot do. Accepted abstracts and papers move straight into our production pipeline and are published as a citable conference supplement or proceedings volume, with registered DOIs and indexed metadata. Your society's annual meeting stops being an event that disappears and becomes part of the published record.
